DAVID ZASLOFF
BIO
It’s 2023 and David is 22 years clean. He goes to 4-5 meetings a week; has sponsees, volunteers for H & I, follows the principles of the 12 steps, is happily married for 18 years, has a beautiful nine year old daughter and, thanks to NA, lives a life full of the love he never knew existed.
David’s sees his recovery as a matter of life and death. Recovery has also given him some great jokes. In addition to the general topics of love, dating, marriage, money, and sex, David’s show is loaded with references to the 12 steps and traditions.
David’s past life experiences include; playing seven instruments (not at the same time), being a ski instructor, a white water river guide, a stained glass window and lamp maker and teacher. He has a BA in psychology, went to graduate school for two years at the University of Oregon studying counseling psychology, and worked as a high school guidance counselor. One summer David lived in the wilderness of Alaska and shot his food. For four months he ate porcupines, chipmunks, seagulls and a few bunnies. David is also a published poet, a recording artist, and was the musical director for 14 HBO Comedy Channel Shows and one Showtime Comedy Special.
As an author David’s first book is called, “The Complete Book of Everything Part 1, Second Edition.” Currently he is editing his autobiography called, “The Joy of Suffering.”

“David was great! Funny, funny, funny show. He was easy to work with and made everyone laugh. After the show people kept telling me how much they loved his performance. I was very, very pleased with the outcome.”

“David’s show was the greatest live performance I ever attended.”
(H.M. Roth - Subud Convention , San Jose, California)
“David was professional and participated in all aspects of the convention. He made my job easy. He is a great guy and a funny man. I am not sure what I enjoyed more, the workshop he spoke at or the comedy show. Bring tissues! You will laugh so hard you will cry. If you’re thinking of having him perform at your convention feel free to contact me and I can tell you more.”
(Marc Crawford - Entertainment Chair - Louisiana Regional Convention 32)
"David is a great entertainer! He is professional while remaining approachable. His comedy will have everyone in stitches! Our group has hired him many times over the recent years. His show is magnificent. Most of us were rolling in the floor and I was snorting from laughing so hard! For the best show in town, I would call David Zasloff."
(Gina Gay-Spooner - Entertainment Chair - San Fernando Valley NA Convention XX)
“On behalf of our board members, I wish to express our appreciation to you for your presentation. You are such a brilliant, talented man. Your humor truly resonated with our group. (Adrian S. Windsor - Program Director - Inside Edge Breakfast Performance)

Forward this to friends, in-laws, your therapist, anybody you can think of. David will make you look good for doing it.”
